Lovely!

I gave this wind bell 5 stars -- the sound is beautiful . HOWEVER, just to give you a heads up. The little ship that catches the wind was missing from the box. I emailed North Country (Email on box) they were so nice, they mailed me the chain with the ship within a couple of day. They claim the place where you buy their bells are supposed to add which wind catcher you select. So this is not a bad reflection on either companies just a little misunderstanding. Overall I love it!

Lovely Sounding Bell

I , personally, own 1 of these bells, although this one was purchased as a gift. It was delivered when expected and the family loved it . They are on a river and absolutely love the sound as it is in the wind even on a calm day. I expect to purchase another in the coming months.

you want to hear this,.... you will need to live in a stormy part of the world. I received it on a rather windy day and it took a strong gust of wind to get peep out of it. I'll stick to something a little more lite weight.

The wind bell looks good, but do not get this one if you actually want to hear it! It is far too heavy and even in great winds It does not want to move and chime. :( Fortunately I was also able to purchase a larger one from The Black Dog (in Marha's Vinyard) and it works wonderfully. Do not get the small wind bells, you are better off paying for the bigger, good ones.
